what is steam dollar to NX equivilent?

so i know in canada at least if you buy a 25$ karma koin card and use it to charge NX through the site they rip you off and only give you like 19k so i'm wondering if i buy a 20$ steam card and get NX through steam will i be ripped off to like 17k or will i get 20k?

I believe $20 is equal to 20,000 NX. Though, I'm not in Canada, so I'm not sure if the exchange rate is different. If you go to buy NX through Steam, it should pop up with the rates and allow you to select one.

ok dud im in canada and if u buy 20$ of steam money in a shop and try to add 20$ in mabi it will cost u more to become = to US dollars so u would be able to do 1 10$ and 1 5$ of transfer with 2$ left IK IT RLLY SUXS

yeah i found that out yesterday i bought 40$ of steam money and yeah for 20k nx it says on the first screen 20$ but on the actual checkout about 26$....it's so dumb cause as far as i know it's ONLY canada that has this but oh well....for anyone else that ever wants to ask this is forever logged, lol

if you read the posts properly they already answered this, and rejected the "ripped off" part.

they are equal, Canadian currency is not equal to the US dollar, the rates are because of this fact.

input amount you paid in canadian, the usd amount is what you get in NX.


it seems most people dont know steam dollars are NOT universal, your steam wallet is region locked. You see your steam dollars in your countrys main currency (if steam supports it, steam on started supporting canada in 2014 i think). So in your wallet a single steam dollar is not worth the same as say a single steam dollar in USA region.
