Critical Hit took me years (not dedicated training, but still) to train to r1... This one isn't so bad, so long as you just train in while you're doing other stuff.

Oh man I am slow as molasses when it comes to training skills. I know that feel. XD
But imo when you finally get it to r1 it feels really good.

I tend to combine such skills with another, so that while the cooldown is on recovery, the other skill can be used in the mean time. For me currently, that would be Snap Cast and Blaze for example (for lack of other magical skills to train), or Mana crystalization. I've got it timed so that when I use mana crystalization, Snap Cast and Inspiration let me bypass and recover my mana just enough that I never have to use a mana potion, making the process much more useful.

I meant that as in, just do other stuff in the game and when you see the cooldown is off just use the skill. You don't have to dedicate your whole in-game time to hitting a button once every few minutes.

Keep up Mana Shield and spam Hailstorm's initial charge(if you have the skill) with Spellwalk(also if you got it) active. Nice and fast way to burn MP.

Yea, i used mana shield then just attacked a lion and had it take my mana to nothing, super fast.
