handicrafting plz help

i got the handicrafting skill and i got the handicraft kit in my right hand but the magic powder recipe isnt thier so do i have to do something extra to learn how to turn gems into magic powder

Believe you need to have rank D handicraft to actually make the magic powder. There's a red, blue, and silver gem variant, each needing a small gem of the correct color (one small blue gem to make one magic powder (blue gem) and a base herb).

as for making magic powder, scroll near bottom, will be under handicraft.

You could just drop one of the ingredients into the window and it will give you all the available recipes for crafting at your current rank.
