Doesnt matter, Arena wasnt going to be anything like mabinogi, much like vindictus, it was going to borrow story stuff and some visuals, but would not be the open free world adventure we currently have. From its name and the vid I believe you can understand.

It was pretty similar to vindictus, which is probably why it was shelved.

I'm just shooting air on this, they won't bother with mabinogi or mabinogi actual sequel otherwise we would've seen it by now. I been waiting since Vindictus season1 ended in hopes that the development for mabinogi sequel would be progressing and I would use Vindictus to tie me over, NOPE. I <3 Mabinogi

You can probably find the essence of mabinogi style of gameplay in another game. There's a few games out there that has the classless system with the ability to learn all skills and being able to swap combat style on the fly. I doubt they would have the amount of lore Mabinogi has because trust me when I say there is so much story telling in it that you can just lose yourself, I only got up to middle of generation3(g3, the dark knight/paladin story arc).

Not sure whether EVE online has as much lore as Mabinogi. Haven't heard of Uncharted Waters, though; will check that out.

you wouldnt be banned for something that small, at most your post/thread would be deleted by a mod, but honestly a passing remark or mention shouldn't be a problem, just dont go recruiting people.
Anyway please turn this discussion back to its original purpose.

A new mabinogi that stays true to this original version would be epic, sadly I dont see it happening with how "modern" mmos focus on eye candy and the simplest design for most profit.

But we can look forward to new mmos, nexon continues to bring us some of the most unique interesting mmos out there. Like the new ghost in the shell first assault

maplestory2 looks fun enough I plan to play it (though I dont like maplestory)

oh and Arpiel Online looks to be an ARPG by nexon!
