Well I figured out how to fix the problem. For those that have a similar problem as mine, run the Default.reg file in the local files of Mabinogi.
---
I'm going to post this here in a vain attempt to figure out what's going on with the game.
For the past few days, the game just flat out refuses to start up. It brings up the launcher like normal, but it just doesn't start as it went from "Mabinogi - Running" to "Mabinogi" So I did the following: Checked Task Manager to see what's going on, which shows that the game appears on the Manager for a few seconds before vanishing off the lists.I ran the client.exe file as an admin and nothing happens. Verified the cache, which revealed two files that needed to be redownloaded, but that didn't fix the problem. Added the game to the DEP Exclusion list, and even when so far as to reinstall the ENTIRE game. Nothing fixed the problem. I don't think the Nexon Launcher is the problem because it ran MapleStory 2 normally. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you.
1. find the mabinogi steamapps folder, this is easily done by going into properties and click the "browse game files"
2. find any file. whatsoever. and delete it. try to do a small file.
3. run steams verify game integrity cache.
4. wait. seriously for some reason this has fixed every issue ive had w/ games. as steam basically checks, redownloads the file you deleted and seems to also correct any rogue bits and pieces that somehow got wierded due to whatever the reason happened.
yes. i know this is basically saying "run verify integrity cache" but with the added "delete a file. seriously. it works 99% of the time."
Help please.
I found a fix for the script errors (at least it did worked for me)
I downloaded back internet explorer and restarted my pc and now it is working.
My Mabinogi wasn't working before on both my pc (one is wiith Windows 10 and the other 11) until i decided to try to reinstall Internet Explorer 11.
If you need help with that or if you see that it dosen't work for you, i posted it in the forum on steam with most of the detail.
On that note, have a great day^-^
usually it takes me twice to get it up, but the most it's taken was about 5 times, so you gotta keep at it
I can't get the actual name of the process as after a short time it vanishes fromthe resource monitor and I can't seem to get it to show up again so... best of luck to those who get stuck like I did.
Edit: Thank You User HawkeBM That Does Work And It Does Take A Few Tries
