Can't login?

I'm new, I guess I had a Nexon account and I didn't realize it, so I resent a confirmation email and changed my password. When I tried logging in the first time it told me I can only link one Nexon account to Steam and then it said it sent an email to me, but it never did and it closed. Now every time I try to login it comes up with that same Steam message about me only being able to link one account and then this error shows up:

Error!
A system error has occurred. Please try again later. (Error 2009)

Please close the application and try again


Help please, I'd like to play this ;;

Have you tried right clicking the mabi icon in your library ? scroll down and click properties, then go to local files and verify your game's integrity or something like that. If that doesn't work you could try resending the email and waiting or just download mabinogi through nexon's website instead of steam.

Is there any difference in downloading the standalone or the steam version? Because if not I might as well just go ahead and do that.

No, the only difference is logging in through steam or the nexon website.

Alright, thanks. Yeah, I'll just do that, because verifying the game cache didn't seem to work.

I'm having the same exact issue sadly. Wondering if I should just delete it and be done.

Except it won't even let me type anything to log in... Just freezes up and sends me the error message.

Ehh if your problem is from within the last six or so hours... Nexon is currently down for all games under its franchise within NA and has been since roughly 2:30 a.m. PST.

Their authorization server(s) is/are *down* meaning nothing is working. The earliest we can expect to hear anything from them about the issue is still another half hour to hour away when they actually have people come into work in the home office for the NA branch.

I suggest just downloading the standalone version. Steam and Nexon don't work well together from my experiences :P
