Kinda new to buying from players and such

But I don't want to get into any nitty-gritty details that I don't need to mess with. I just wanna do one thing.

Basically, I want to buy a dragon (with ingame gold, and also ice dragon or flame dragon or such; I don't want a bone dragon if I have the possibility of getting a real one), but I don't know what's the ingame way of... actually buying pets. I know we can't buy pets from the Auction House (and looking up "Pet Adoption Medal" does nothing it seems), but I don't know how to say "hey, I want to buy yata yata yata". Should I post in some dedicated forums somewhere? ("Trading" forum on this looks dead so I'd doubt it's reliable to be put on here)

Also, is there any decent way of seeing what's the usual prices of such things? This isn't a regulated market or such, so I know it's not like trading in Warframe where you can just look up the item on a website and see how much it's priced or a usual pricing. But I know I'm not rich enough for it at the moment, but I wanted to see how much I should go for.

I never really mess with many player-made markets, so I'm just... new to this sort of thing and am not really sure where to turn. Googling around isn't so helpful, as far as I've searched anyway.

The only way you're going to be able to buy pets with in-game gold is by checking players shops and kiosks in Belvast or Dunbarton. (Maybe house sellers too.) Additionally, adoptable pets are stored in Pet Adoption Medals that allows pets to be traded among players. Very rarely will you find anyone selling or trading the pet that you are looking for... especially if it's limited time only pets[mabinogi.nexon.net] or pet cards[mabinogi.nexon.net] that may be sold from the Web Shop for NX. Even then, you're looking to pay a high price.

The only thing I can suggest is create a party and use LTB> such and such pet NMO as a party title. If someone has a pet for sale, they can contact you that way to open negotiations. Otherwise post a looking-to-buy thread on your server's Marketplace forum[forums.mabinogi.nexon.net].

Hmmm... Thanks for the info! And yeah, I knew that it was a limited time pet that was only purchasable at its time by NX only. But I still wanna try, at least.

What do you mean by creating a party and use LTB>? I know LTB means Looking To Buy, but what does the party have to do with it?
