Multiple Item Bag question

I have a Tia bag and I have been eyeing other bags for awhile now. I heard if you have 2 of the same bags the other won't go into your inventory but noone so far has given me specifics. So if I get a bag like Saber bag that says it's a merchant bag, can I use it with my Tia Bag? I know I can use the Tia bag as a shop so I'm trying to figure this all out before I burn my money.

Birman item bags, and extra large item bags can only be carried with one of each type. For example, you will not be able to keep two of the same Luxury Equipment bags in your inventory. As far as the Item shop bags go, you may only carry one - so no, you would not be able to keep the Tia bag and the Saber bag in your inventory.

Still kind of vague but I think I understand. I cannot have 2 bags that can set up shop in the same inventory. Fortunately I didn't mess up and buy a second one. Thanks for the answer.
