Report a translation problem
Lets see, my first thought is its something blocking a domain, like anti-virus with web protection, or something like a Circle with disney setup that blocks (doubt its that, but my niece and nephew will never know muhahahaha). Which would be blocking the direct hidden login and thus redirects you to a default. Second thought was your time on your pc could be wrong (but that would basically effect all websites though... and its kinda an old thing that doesnt happen anymore).
Then theres the googled results, stuff about changing your MTU (traditional mabi lag fix people useto/do use). Which i also highly doubt is an issue even if you did it.
Im heavily leaning towards there being software on your desktop blocking/interrupting stuff. You could try booting in safe mode with networking and see if you can reach the websites that way to test.
