10 year old lost email help
i will try to make this as thorough as possible so people understand and dont just give me the typical "submit a ticket" or "check your email" response.


Long story short i made a mabi account just like many of you back in middle school or so which is close to 10 years. The email i used back then was yahoo email which for some reason i have the information for but the problem with accessing that email is it refers me to another email that is connected to which wants me to verify its really me so i can get a code and implement it on yahoo so it can allow me to log in. Which is impossible!

The only current way for me to access mabinogi is through steam via being connected some how just brings up the game and automatically throws me into the second password section and i log in the issue here is i cant access nexon website at all because i cant get my first password going back to the first issue.

Just curious if anyone has had a similar issue and how did you solve it? Ive been trying to sort this out for the past year and just cant find a fix.

The second password is to log into the game only, and ideally should not be the same as your global Nexon account password. I would suggest sending a ticket for password recovery, but if you can't get in to your Nexon account then you may want to try posting on the #help channel on Mabi's Official Discord Server[discordapp.com]. (Keep in mind that Nexon cannot help you regarding email accounts itself, so you would want to contact Yahoo's support and whomever else is the provider for your other email account for help with recovery.) As for being able to connect through Steam - it uses the email attached to your Steam account, which I'm guessing is not the email you used for Nexon.

If I were you, I would advise changing the email address to your Nexon account once you are able to verify the account is yours, and to write down your login credentials somewhere and keep it in a safe place: https://support-mabinogi.nexon.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000712506-Information-needed-for-account-verification-email-change-request

the thing with this is the way i connected my steam to my mabinogi account was through using a username if you remember how back then we would log in with a username rather than email so steam got connected that way and yes its not the same email . I tried discord and people were just being rude there and giving me the same response to just submit a ticket.

Unfortunately, there's not much anyone else can do to help you here. There's only really two ways to solve the issue; send a support ticket to Nexon, or alternatively, deal with Yahoo directly.

I've never used Yahoo before, but from my general experience with support and email providers, they will just tell you to "make a new email address" even if it doesn't solve or is related to the problem.
You might have a better chance getting some sort of solution with Nexon, but even that isn't saying much. It's just picking the potential lesser of two evils.

I'm afraid you're missing what I'm saying. Granted I haven't played any Nexon games before stumbling on Mabinogi in 2016/17, so I have no idea how user accounts were set up then or how they would be recovered nowadays. However, you mentioned in your OP that you are having trouble accessing your account because you are unable to get into old email accounts.

What I am saying is that Nexon cannot help you gain access to your email accounts in order to recover the account for your Nexon one. Because this is a barrier created by the email account(s) itself, you will have to contact your email provider's support for that. So no one is being rude when the general advice from multiple people is to contact Nexon support, especially if your account is that old as they might have another method to help you prove that the account is yours.

I had the same problem and the solution is what you are basically unable to accept "submit a ticket". Because you can't login, you cant submit a ticket, so make a new account and submit a ticket about recovering your account with as much information as possible. They will ask for what's missing and if you provide them with it, your solution is basically changing the email the account is linked to through customer support.

Well, if you're able to login through steam then you should be able to get the GM to switch your account email. If it's anything like Steam support where they ask you a set of questions just give out whatever information you can to them that corresponds to the account then I'm sure they'll transfer it.

What you're trying to ask is impossible; no one will be able to help you. You'll just have to accept it and take the ticket option. I know that Nexon has a reputation, but they're quick to respond on tickets now. It's not like the rumors I've heard before.

Yeah, before it could take 11 months or longer to get a ticket response (I'm not joking, I had to deal with it when NX I charged didn't go through).

Now it's thankfully a few days at most, usually around 24 hours.

And they have live chat now on the Mabinogi support page on the website so someone could help OP immedietely with their issue lol
