also, the game tries to teach you toward the end of your first run that you can start over by entering a staircase placed below one of those dark 4-eyed statues but i had to have this detail pointed out to me after i was already like 3 runs in, because i thought it was some scripted part of the "bad ending" sequence, when it's actually a game mechanic you can use on any floor where it's possible
Having reset and started over, should I be fiddling with the glyphs right now or is it pointless? I made one, but all it did was change the background art briefly. Is there a second step I'm supposed to be taking?
If you've solved a puzzle and the background changed, fall into a pit to get your reward - a lot of secrets require you to fall instead of use the stairs.
