Question about room 00 [SPOILER]

Does anyone know how to get the other rod? I know it is in the room but i don't know how to make it spawn.

But secret hunting is the fun part! Besides, in order to unlock it you need to do some things on other floors, so you'll have to leave and come back anyways.

From my understanding, after you clear Cif's route and defeat Mon, you have to start a new run with either Lillie or Gray. You have to kill Eus (the snake, I think she's like on floor B030) by striking her tail (you can do this if you hit the statue in Eus's room 23 times, wait a little, and the statue will disappear, and it will open up a path for you to be able to strike the tail).

After that, you have to reach Gor (the big head blocking the way) and kill her with your sword.

Once you do that, you should try going to B000 again to get the advanced scepter.

I already figured this out but I might as well hijack this topic to ask, can you go to 000 with other characters and grab the staff again? I finished completely with Gray on which I found the staff but after restarting with Lillie I didn't have it anymore. Do the traitors stay dead or do I have to go through Cif to kill Mon again and then kill the rest with Lillie to get her the staff?

you actually don't have to kill mon at all, that seal is already gone from the beginning of the game

Technically, that seal never existed, since Mon was believed to have been killed outright when the seals were made.

so I must be missing something really obvious, but how do you start a new run after beating the boss with the third character? She's permanently voided and so far the only way I start a new run is by running out of lives and refusing the fruit

You need to beat the boss, then instead of taking the stairs drop down into the final hole (with the rock telling you that someone is waiting for you). After that, you've fully completed the third character's run and get to enter a new brand.
