I've been wondering: is it possible to input the third mural brand in this room? I cannot remove this statue here, and it makes it impossible to follow any brand patterns here. Is there a trick here?

Statues count towards a filled in square so it should be fine.

You will notice that brand rooms can be very particular about how many tiles they offer and will often put things in specific corners, making it impossible to clear that tile.

It's a very intentional choice. If it feels impossible, it could be because they are purposefully making you feel that way. Do take into consideration that even with something on top of the tile, it still counts, it simply can't be removed.
