Don't step on spawners ever
The goal is to build a platform behind the squid you want to crush so that you can push the statue back the other way to crush the other one afterward.

I am crushed two squids buy i can not access to the stairs, the statues don't disappear!

your shadows count towards the moster count - so you need to crush other enemies (and thus destroy statues) BEFORE you step on any glyph
