You need to go to a pitch-black area.
If you don't know how to get to it: Go to a level where there are no walls. Notice anything you can do?
On a screen where you can reach the UI at the bottom (e.g. one of the birch levels), take the tile containing the left part of the floor number. You'll reach a pitch-black area.
Follow the sound of the music getting louder.
When you find the big object, listen for the sound it makes when you walk into it. Does that ring a bell?
Walk into the carcass six times, then wait six seconds.
