Controller not working. (Solved. Answer inside.)
Ok, so I redownloaded this game after I stopped playing it months ago. For some reason I cant get my controller to work. It was working fine months ago, and yes there is nothing wrong with the controller. (I checked). When I go to advance settings and change it to gamepad I cant move my character around at all. Also when I try edit the keys to see if the game is getting anything from the controller, it doesn't change at all. Someone please help.

I have this EXACT same problem, for some reason, no matter what i do, my charector wont do ANYTHING!

What type of controllers do you guys have. I have a wired Afterglow 360 controller. I know that I used to work on this game cuz It worked the first time I installed Vindicts. And continued to work throughout the whole game till i got bored and decided to uninstall it.

Dam...... need to hear back from the toehr too..... but if they both have a 360 controller ya think it could be that the 360 controllers are no longer compatible due to a bug? I hope not.

GUYS!!!!!! I figured it out. This is whats you got to do to have your controller work on Vindictus. It's a bit weird but it worked for me. Have your controllers plugged in and go to control panel --> View devices and printers. You should see your controller, right click it and go to Game Controller Settings and then click on Advanced. Make this Controller the preferred controller and save or apply. Then thats it. Close out and launch Vindictus with the controller plugged in first. Once you're in town go to options, and then you should be able to change to gamepad and even edit the buttons.

1st: SC is visable in the devices and printers as KB and M
2nd: SC works as gamepad by default, but the point is Vindictus does not recognize it as SC, but as a common gamepad, so no custom bindings, using gyro etc.
