So are drop rates still terrible?
Its the reason that me and many of my friends stopped playing.

Yes they are. But to be expected of RNG system. It's either against you or with you. In my case, against me... In my friend's case, with him. Pretty much the reason why I'm deciding to quit myself.

You guys do realise you could just buy whatever it is you're looking for right? If you do something farmable, you'll make money quickly. I don't have good luck in raids, but i farm level 90 luminaries in TD and make element stones and that makes me good money

First off, how can we buy something if we have no money for it, but that isn't what OP is talking about. Anyways we're not talking about farming. Farming Ship Graveyard 70-80 is the fastest way to make money but that's at a rate of 1M per hour or higher if you're lucky with exquisite iron ore drop rate.

Pretty sure we're talking about those big drops such as Lakoria Fang, Kraken Fang, Elchulus Tear, etc... Stuff that can make you 30-50M quick. Farming on the other hand can get really tiresome. As I stated above, RNG system so drop rate for big items is like maybe 5% chance. Even in enchanting, when it says 75% it's more like 25% chance of success, failing more than getting a successful enchantment from 4-10.

Yeah, I know you guys mean big things like fangs and such, but you could literally just farm for money and buy the weapon/armour you want. There's really no point in QQing over RNG. I know it's ♥♥♥♥, but I just do the raids anyway, if I get something great, if not, then I'll make money some other way and just buy whatever it is i want. And I'm not saying you'll make enough money in one day, if you were patient then you'd be fine.

1m per hour farming ship graveyard on ores seems pretty crappy. If you enter twilight desert there's two luminiaries (Not 90 req. ones though) and an ore vein in the first area. You can hit all three and just leave without touching an enemy. Takes like a minute or two to do, and on 70-80 you'll probably get at least 100k in things. Really nice for leveling gathering as well.

I'm not QQing over RNG. It's just because of it, I only do raids, get my daily 12 Bravery Seal(saving up for that Elchulus Tear you know because it never drops) then log out. The game becomes too limited end game.

Sounds a whole lot like QQing
And it's not limited, it just takes time. Make other characters, raid with them once you're done with your main. I have 3 different characters I raid with, it helps to get drops, and if not then i have more chances for getting seals and selling whatever I make with said seals.

Exactly. This guy's got the right idea. In face, you can even go get most the level 90 luminaries without even touching a boss, and you make make element stones that are worth about 2.5mil each, I've made lots of money in shorts amount of time.

I was only giving an example of how RNG system works but if you want to troll and say I am QQing then go for it.

As for your reply on making other characters and it takes time. You do realize that you're proving that the end game is limited right?

If not then here:

Anyways OP isn't talking about farming so we should drop that discussion and get back on topic. But OP isn't replying back also so this discussion itself is pretty much dead.

Sorry, been busy anyway to me this is a good game, and i like that you can get materials to craft and enhance armor and weapons, but when i raid i boss it would be nice to be guarranted something useful, i have never seen a game with as many trash drops as vindictus and im not talking about EQ you cant use or anything, but literal trash items that are not used in any recipes or quests.
Also in reply to making money to buy items i want, those methods are viable, but buying something just dosent give the same feeling of accomplishment as getting the drop or making it yourself, but thats just me.
Very far future content is working on some new weapon crafting system so you'll be able to get a usuable weapon much more easily. But yeah, still baaaad.

Also, 80 materials are going to be in seal shop for like 22 seals each.

If im remembering correctly you get one seal per raid and you can do 12 raids per day if you bounce around every area, if you do every raid every day for a month you obtain around 336 seals, now that sounds like a lot but lets take the everlasting dragon set which was the highest tier set for a long time, you need 10 rare raid drop to craft it and each of them are around 130 - 150 seals each, so about 1300 - 1500 seals are needed, thats about 5 months of solid raiding.

Now during this you will probably get at least a couple rare drops from some other raid, which you can then sell and expediate the process, but if you take into account that no one can raid everyday and doing 12 raids a day can get real boring real fast, you can see why i might get a wee bit tired of the grind.

also if what deus ex said about lvl 80 materials being 22 seals comes to pass, then that would be a god send for people like me who cant raid constantly.
