Black Cipher sudden problems
ive been playing Vindictus flawlessly for about a month now. ive even clocked in over 150 hours ing the game. but as of today (8/29/2015) ive been getting an error of sorts when trying to launch the game.
"please add an exemption for Nexon Game Security (BlackCipher.aes) to your firewall or anti-virus settings and try again."
-this normally wouldnt be a problem but ive made and exemption for the file on ALL of my anti-virus's and my firewall.
-when that didnt work i DISABLED all of my anti and firewalls.
-to no avail i tried to delete and re download the game using steam AND the nexon's propritary program and i still get the same message

Is anyone else having this problem? Any fixes i should know about? so far after about 2 hours of googleing i havent encountered anyone with the same problem. ANY help would be appreciated.

sidenote: i have widows 10 and have ONLY played the game on win 10 so this problem is seemingly random with regards to the OS

i did the drastic option and went back to win 8.1 and it started working again... i hope they fix the compatibility issues with win 10 before its not free anymore

I'm also having this problem now... Nexon really needs to remove their garbage anti-cheat program and find something less sh***y, and the last one was still no better.

Btw even though this tread is pretty old I can tell you how i fixed it.
I literally had to revert to win 8.1 then reinstall win 10. although i dont play the game anymore im STILL pissed enough to comment.

I got this damn issue out of nowhere. Uninstalled, reinstalled, made exemptions, turned off my firewall and the same stupid error message.
