If it doesn't, there was no need to post.
This thread is pointless, got it.
If you read it, you'd understand.
To clarify, this post was never intended to help anyone, just explain why it runs like poo for some, and fine for others, and to glean from that, is that not everyone can be helped. Everyone looking for a fix-all solution, and there isn't one, like "X program has encountered error 123456", and the fix is to install this update, done! That isn't the case if the game simply isn't compatible with your hardware setup; there is no fix, for you, just deal with the minor stuttering at load times, and accept the fact that, somewhere along the lines, everyone got spoiled with 60fps being the 'new standard', because 30+fps is not only acceptable, it is indeed playable. I, for one, get around 40-50, and about 10 seconds of stuttering when loading into a mission, or back into town, which clears up, and then the game runs fine, but, that's me. Complaining about these minor stutters not only shows a lack of patience, but also a disgusting privileged attitude and spoiled mentality, which runs f'ing rampant these days, as if this free to play game owes the player something.
Compatibility does trump optimization; because they can optimize until the cows come home, but if your hardware says no, there's no way to shoehorn in a software fix, if it's a hardware issue.
So what makes this game such a special case?
There's just no excuses for this game to run as abysmally poor as it does on so many different systems.
What constitutes 'abysmally poor', in your opinion? Runs fine on my PC.
That engine was simply not made for newer tech beyond it's point of entry, so of course it won't run as good on newer tech, patched or no.
To "optimize" a game like this, the devs would most likely end up replacing the old engine, which will just lead to them having to redo the entire game, which at that point might as well be it's own "remastered" game.
