Barely any gold vs the 14m you make from leveling severely inhibits your ability to make any starting progress investments or even repair your gear.
10k AP vs 25-30K should you level normally. With the 10K it gives you, you have just enough to max out your armor and weapon mastery on top of finishing your character growth goal AP missions. You won't be able to rank any of your core skills and be left with a severely gimped character.
You're also being dumped at the start of endgame with a character that you have literally zero experience on so you're going to be double screwed.
Leveling naturally is typically always superior unless you're an experienced veteran or they tune the skip option to reward you with adequate resources.
I wish NX let us keep the rental weapon since I could not afford to get one no matter how hard I tried. Failure rate of upgrade anything are just too high for new players who don't have much gold or materials.
