Worth coming back to or dead game?

If not worth playing still, I'd like to find a private server that's pre-RISE with 1x or close to official rates, preferably locked at Lv60.

Windictus has something like 8x rates though. =/ And their content is further along then I wanted.

I want the older days of Vindictus, maybe not with boat tokens, but at least where you could only hold 16 normal healing potions and had to stand and drink them at vulnerable moments, and time them for the greatest effect.

I tried Requiem once too, it was alright, but I've just invested too much time into the official to abandon it. Having trouble finding a link, but if you'd like to look around, I'm sure you can find it.

I really wish they added an offline singelplayer, even as a solo game the game is great but I just don't trust the game will stay online for many more years..

Ofc it is worth, but you have to have a little bit of patience untill you max lvl, there are enough players that play the game, although the summer some of em go for vacations, but the winter is extremelly full

You mean tokens? No, but I miss them. First time I ever played this game, Laghodessa was the end-game and the level cap was 44, with only Lann, Fiona and Evie. Rocheste didn't exist yet.

I mean how most Korean games have "daily stamina" for doing missions. They randomly added it a few years ago to "curb botting" and said "oh it shouldn't matter to the average player, you'll have plenty". I despise stamina systems though and flat out refuse to play a game that has it.

That being said, went over to Windictus, it's actually plenty good enough for me so I'll play that until it chokes. It's sad because I didn't mind spending the occasional $15 in Vindictus. Also, my 4 friends quit for the same reason. A game that has like ~230 average players shouldn't be chasing off people "in the name of bot control" and totally not "in an attempt to sell you energy potions".

You mean fatigue system.Yes there is but most of the time you will get potions while you're leveling and yet I believe you won't play that much to deplete your stamina in a day

you can find private server setup online I am sure, if you worried about that, can always run your own if this goes down, but that's not what i'd suggest you do before they do close service as it is probably not legal.

Theres a way to do private servers in Vindictus? I'd love to set one up for my girlfriend and I but the game's monotization ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.

Like Krelgarsh said, its extremely doubtful you'll play enough to ever run out. The current system is miles better than tokens and idk why anyone would ever miss them

This is disingenuous; bad actors that speak on sentiment pose a much larger issue to the player base than an energy system that nobody who actually plays the game is bothered by.

I'm about to try VindictusVN -- it has the pre-Rise version, also with Evie's mana ember intact (came in a few patches after Rise, IIRC). I'll report back if I can get it up and running... As for Windictus, it's pre-Rise, BUT, not pre-static shield sphere for; which is the juncture at which the game got dumbed down too much to bother with (threw free gear at players until pay-to-win cap, rendering most sub-systems pointless).
