Strongest class?

I haven't played in a VERY long time, not since there were only about three classes, so the addition of more classes was a big deal! I was a mage, and a pretty good one too!
Are the new classes just, Stronger? What's the game like today?

every character is fully capable of being good, if you're looking for that OP character because whatever reason. that spiel doesn't normally stick for long since they adjust said character.

I've already played this game and loved the character I played as. I'm wondering how the old characters compare to the new ones, since I expect power creep.

I was a mage and if I recall correctly, I invested heavily in the ability to turn throwable objects into health crystals. I was basically immortal, but I focused on helping the team. Strong life crystals, strong healing spell, strong revive, team revival feathers, etc. Of course I also have super strong attacks, I could solo that giant pig thing, but it was fun to make other people feel strong too.

AP is unlimited, you can and will max out all the things need for it. boss solo-ing can be done with all characters if you have the know how and good enough gear to do the battle with in the time limit. really... it's more important to find the character you like playing,, not the one that deal the best/most damage.

If you like playing support you can stick with Evie, she's probably the most supportive with her magic, but pretty good attack too if you know how to use her.

If you want to start tanking hits and countering, Hurk, Karok, Miri, Delia, and Lethor are good at that; Fiona I think too but I've hardly used her. Personally, I get bored playing her, a little too defensive for my liking...

Arisha has a more 'arcade' feel, very action oriented with commands and placement of her crystal, pretty fast paced.

Not a big fan of Lann, Sylas, Lynn, or Vella to a lesser degree, though Vella is pretty good crowd control with the chainblades. Umm, can't remember off the top of my head the other ones but, can't be too memorable I guess lol

Try em all out, see who fits your playstyle best, I'd say try up to level 50-60 to get a good feel for them. I'm with you though, Evie is the mage, she's my main girl +best

i have every Hero at Lvl 100+ and i have to say that there is no "best" character , every hero has its own benefits, strong parts and weakness, that only is for PVE tho
I dont know about PVP because i never got interested in that

Sure i have my loved one class and that is Vella, just because of X-Cut its so satisfying hitting the counter attacks

So has there been powercreep in the classes? When I last played the gameplay was slowing down, and it was starting to feel very repetitive.. I killed so many frogs...

the bosses are the thing to look forward to but even that can get repetitive after killing X boss for 100-200+ ECT times. the fun is also with soloing X boss when you feel competent enough.
