Camera zoom issue with Kai's crossgun

So after the recent updates, I'm having a bizarre issue where whenever I shoot the crossgun, it full zooms back out, instead of where I was zoomed to before. Basically I'll stay like 2 ticks zoomed in, but when I shoot it just pushes it as far away from the character as possible. I'm not sure how to fix this.
