Story: "armor set" quests in general store? Edit: its on "View Hidden Story"

You need to gather the items that the story ask you, to complete those stories.

Most of them are not commonly found and requires to be crafted with expertise. Something that is very expensive for a new player. Buying them all of market will cost you a fortune. To raise expertise as new player you would also have to buy a lot of materials of market. Or grind like a nutcake, which is not really doable with the fatigue system.

Other players are able to lend you the sets so you can complete those stories.

It is actually good to get done as you get titles with stats from many of them.

Don't worry much about it though. It's not important to get done.

thats the thing, there is no quest text, there is no quests, even after i used all those story items to learn the equipment stories, no quests, nothing.

oh wow there was an option for "View Hidden Story"...i could not get any of these quests before? dam there is so much stuff that would have completed on the way! FeelsBadMan

Don't worry about those quests, they've been hidden because they're no longer relevant since they restructured the game so you only needed to play the main story instead of grinding away at the rest of it. But if you're a lore fanatic you can make your way through them if you wanted to.

im doing the rocheste ones at least, noticed side story titles give no stats even tho they show some on wiki.

Yeah they may have been removed, I need to find what Millitien and Astera look like so I can plan which armor sets to use as my appearance.
