i got the quest to go fishing,went on the fischer boat seen fishswarm arrive,but have nothing to fish with,no rod,so how i can catch fish?to get the fish skill?

If you don't have fishing rods, head over to the fishing supply tent on the boat. You catch fish with the harpoon secondary weapon, just aim the reticle over the fish's shadow.
