Flashlight/broke the game

Here's a weird one (and I know this game is full of bugs. This one runs the worst of the Fears to Fathom lot for me), so I had the flashlight equipped when I got on the bike and went to the store. When I came back, the flashlight isn't outside where I grabbed the bike and it doesn't appear to be back in the closet either, and I have to deal with the power outage. Does it have a respawn point when you load a save? Something tells me I'm going to have to start it over from the beginning and make sure I leave it somewhere else before I get on the bike.

I just started it over and finished it instead. Seems like it could be a glitch that if you get on the bike with flashlight in hand, it may disappear for the rest of your run.

I wish I would have read your post before playing because literally happened to me today. Went for the bike with flashlight and it was gone foe good

Argh! I'm sorry to hear that. I spent like 20 minutes looking around for the flashlight; where I got on the bike, checking inside the house, etc. to see if there was a respawn and nothing. Starting over is the only option.

Wonderful, I was all the way into the power outage when I noticed my flashlight was forever gone, seriously, the dev/s could have checked for issues like this, full run start over, weeee.

I know I’m pretty late but I just had this issue, here’s how I solved it without restarting from the beginning:
- I fully closed the game and reopened it

- I clicked back onto ‘Carson House’ and chose to start from ‘Power Outage’ (When I closed my game completely)

-I ran to where the bike was outside of the garage after turning the power back on and the Flashlight was floating mid-air; still able to be picked up.

Problem solved, hope this helps anyone who has this in the future :)
