Getting Ray's FTTN

Immediately after looking up the DNA sample from the soda can, the DNA database is unlocked, showing Ray's FTTN. This FTTN can be used to look up Ray in the database.

Does Ray already know his FTTN before seeing his database entry then? At first I thought so, but on my second playthrough, I realized that he doesn't seem to know what an FTTN is in the first place. Or is this a bug?

Yeah it unlocks too early.
On my playthrough I swabbed Ray and searched by DNA sample, which makes sense.

The ltm should unlock after you use your own swab on the machine.
