Game speed
I recently changed the resolution of the game to my screens native resolution.

And I don't know if I'm seeing things but it feels/looks like the game sometimes speeds up for a little while. Just enough that it makes it harder to play.

Is this a real thing?

it has some weird situations usually when chi is involved. Sometimes the windup is slower so the hit becomes alot faster. I think it happens most if someone dies or the ninja girl splits for example.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLih61EraOE here at 22 seconds when i charge it goes alot faster than normal where as the 2nd one I do right after is the normal speed. If you can record your situations maybe we can see if it's even more abnormal than so

hmm thats odd unless your pc cant handle the game properly so the fluctuations of your FPS make the game go faster / slower? try enabling on steam the FPS counter so that you can see your FPS. at some other PC i played the game on the game seemed to go slower due to low fps not sure if its your case as well though xd

I think it what you said about chi attacks, the speed up looked quite similar.
Guess I might not have noticed before for some reason.

Side note: Wow, nice video, that was a pleasure to watch.

Thanks.

I did as you said on the stage that FreakeR played in the video and I had consistent 70+ frames.
Thanks.

:D still play this game on and off. Probably won't quit until I have all the items. what a grind though. I wonder if there are level 6 items lol

I have wondered similarily myself.
I've yet to completle all stages on hard (+ the final boss)

Sometimes I just don't understand how to get better, but I seem to anyway when I play.
This game is so hardcore, very little room for error. Sometimes feels like a puzzle to find the best tactic for the specific fights, beyond just raw skill and practice.

If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could cheat engine hack the money. The items I have no idea.
Finding the values might take a while though.
