Best way to get money
So one of the best ways I've found to earn some money quickly, fly around the Vossk systems and check the giant freighter ships for Organs and Vossk Organs. Those fetch a really large price and you can find these ships right outside the stations. So depart station, check the 3 floating ships (some systems and planets will have 1-3 depending on which station you're at), and if they don't have it, redock, then fly out again and keep checking. It doesn't take long to find those with a ton of organs. Also, keep an eye out on ships with high value equipment in them as well. About an hour in of doing main storyline I came across a giant freighter with 15t of Scram Cannons (~40k ea). Got an easy ship upgrade out of it.

Good luck, and happy space exploring!

see my tips on playing this game. I recommend that you get about 20 of the high value commodities and then go the star lounge and see if anyone is buying items for a premium. Just say no thanks and click again until they make an offer on the items you have. Fast route to millionaire (assuming you aren't immediately spending your wealth on ship upgrades).

Just bought this game. So you suggest to be pirate and shoot them and take that load ?
If you're attacking Vosk freighters, wouldn't you then become an enemy of Vosk? and if you become an enemy of Vosk, will you then still be able to dock Vosk bases?
You will still be able to dock in Vossk bases. You'll just have to pay like $2000. Also, after they hate you enough, you can travel to a Terran system and destroy Terran large ships for huge profit(which will in turn regain your good standing with the Vossk, then rinse and repeat). Remember, only go for ships with organs or rare plants or luxury items or high value equipment. Everything else just isn't worth it
I don't want to shoot my fellow terrans :spazhorror: Mate can you tell me which ship is better, Groza or N'Tirrk ? I can't decide.

Couldn't find N'tirrk so I bought Groza.

I'd say go with the Groza, I was using Anaan before though. Fantastic ship with lots of cargo space
search a base and shot them ...and again and again ...you will get a lot of loot :P

Oh god yes.

The only downside to being a pirate is needing to pay a fee every time you dock in an unfriendly faction's space port. But to get friendly with them, just go to a system owned by their opposite, pirate the balls out of them, and then watch your respect with the original faction slide back to neutral (or even friend).
If you buy the Vossk Organs from stations and then sell them in the bars you still get a pretty big profit.
Android version:

Once I got a ship to hold three or four Raccoon beam weapons, a good auto turret and Kingfisher or Octopus tractor beams, I just camped outside a Vossk station at about 1.8km, facing the targeting centre of the station with my primary weapons on autofire. If the defence force spawns one or two ships at small intervals, you can clean up very quickly without having to do a thing. I usually set it up and do work while I keep an eye on it (doing it now;). I am currently using a Veteran with a cargo upgrade and three Rhoda Blackhole compressors (440t total cargo space) so I can stay out longer.

If the station spawns more, you might need to be a bit more interactive and extend your camping distance. If the spawning is too slow or too many (sometimes eight ships at a time), just dock and refuse paying the bribe, and repeat.

Although I pick up worthless cargo as well, I usually average over 1k/t. You can also equip a Leach and deposit a couple of sentry guns if it makes you feel better. If you think the ships are about to overwhelm you just select to dock at the station and punch the booster.

Also, just exiting the station, i don't even bother trying to EMP the freighters, but blow up all allied and enemy ships, much easier to shoot and ask questions (or improve faction standings) latter. Sometimes its fun just to keep docking and going out again just for the dogfights.

As for docking, the 2k-3k bribe is nothing. And to fix your standing, as mentioned before, just go to a station on your good side and blow up their ships. There is no permanent damage to your faction standings.

I too like to hang on to Vossk organs and Buskat since you can vary occasionally find a buyer at a bar. But still it is always a longshot.
