So it's only crashed once then? Or have you wasted your euros on a game that is crashing ALL the time?
JoJo Dec 10, 2012 @ 11:41am
It will not run with my custom controller.
My custom controller setup is: VRC-3NT USB adaptor wich is connected to a R2004GF receiver. This is paired with a Futaba 3PL transmitter (surface radio for RC-cars). Listed in windows 7 as "Virtual RC USB" device. I get to bind all movements i need in options-controller. With all bindings ready it crashes during loadingscreen in campaign. Standard keyboard setup loads fine.

What is your custom controller?
Thanks for your reply.

What's your so called custom controller? Can't you put all the information in one sentence at first?
holyshade Dec 10, 2012 @ 12:06pm
hmm you might wanna grab a 360 pad or a logitech wheel
JoJo Dec 10, 2012 @ 12:14pm
Yeah, my game doesnt work, lets waste some more euros on equipment for it.

Are you trolling us?

You expect a PC game to run with your home made remote control from hobby RC cars?
I would not even know how to put that stuff together to make a use on PC.

And you try to blame the developers that your tinkered peripheral does not work, implying you have thrown the money away, however the game actually works for you alternatively?
FishFingers Dec 10, 2012 @ 1:07pm
Had the game running about 5 minutes and it crashed for me too. I'm using Windows 8.
RED-FROG Dec 10, 2012 @ 1:57pm
Then how come your profile shows 0.9hours?
JoJo Dec 10, 2012 @ 2:41pm
Why do you assume it is homemade? It works in all my other games, and it has drivers which dowloads automatically from windows repositories when connected. I dont blame anybody other than myself for spending the money on this game. I do enjoy racinggames, but i will not buy another controller just for this game. But thank you for the helpfulness.

You might need a custom controller driver update to support new games.

----------------------

On a serious note - the system specs on this game are extremely low. Does the game really run that well?

look for the developer name and youll find they also did the shift nfs game...so its easy and simple made like every COD game, you take a old game program code, and put a few new models with new textures into that, make them looking like ferrari instead of nfs race cars and yeah another money grabber title is out, but dont forget its a windows live game, and nowhere a hint for that...only a nice gamer did told in the forum here, so this is acta 2? you share your stuff with microsoft while playing a game? nice xD
Three Sixtyyyy

I'm sorry your controller isnt working yet for the game, I hope it gets sorted out soon though. Id almost say this is the first day its been released (yes i know its the first day its on steam) but, I wouldnt rush to judgment so soon.

I've been in your shoes with my G27 recently on other games, so I feel your pain.

Hang in there buddy!
