Error to start the game

Hi, i'm having a problem to start the game, after 5 seconds that i started the game (probably when would go to the main menu). Shows a message saying this: "Unhandled expection trapped.EXPECTION_ACESS_VIOLATION at 0x570348f9. Reading from adress 0xcb4896ab. Build: SMSGEM.20121019.0165.BLD000"
When shows this message, i click on "Ok", and after shows another message that the game needs to be closed.
I already tried to do everything, but no changes. I read in a forum from people with the same problem, said that they updated theirs video cards, and the error stopped. I tried the same thing, but no changes. The only difference that i know, is that theirs video cards are Gforce, and mine AMD Readeon.

I'm also getting this error and "run as admin" doesnt work for me. I've tried every compatability with no luck either.... I'm also using an amd video card.

The Game uses "Games for Windows Live" .... I get the same crash when the GfWL Sign-In Service is not available. I start the service from the command line with "net start wlidsvc" because it crashes on my PC five minutes after it was started.
You can also check if you get past the crash by changing the file TDFerrari.exe.cfg. Modify the line <updates>1</updates> to <updates>0</updates>
You will get an error like "Please install GfWL",

Hey, modification of the TDFerrari.exe.cfg file works for me - the game starts now, but I see the "Please install GfWL" error message. The service is running. Is there anything else I can check?

You could check some other things around the xlive.dll. Try to complete uninstall and reinstall GfWL. But I had no luck with anything in the past. I am really glad that GfWL is going down now. Hope they patch it out of the game soon. And hope it will be easy to get the old save files to work.

i'm using nvidia geforce but I experience the same problem, game abort after 5 seconds.
Show me a welcome menu and crash.
