Awesome game! How can I make it faster?

I am extremely impressed by this revamping of the original Darkest Dungeon.

It keeps the essence of what made DD great, but it adds so many new mechanics, options, a new soundtrack, new great quotes, a lot of new enemies... I am SUPER grateful to the devs!! They have my loyalty from now on!!

That said, is there any way of speeding the combat animations... like 100% (double the speed)? I may have been playing too much Monster Train lately and get used to its 3x speed, the thing is that this game's animations feel painfully slow. Even a basic corridor fight can take 5 mins of actual time to be finished...

Any ideas? I am a bit of an idiot so steps be appreciated (if such a speeding option exists, of course)

Cheat engine have "speedhack" hotkey, you can set any game speed at any moment (I played on 5x but you can set even faster :3) with 1 buttom. Works with any game (even with dd2 if you value such thing). Can't imagine playnig without it

its not that the game is slow, the problem is that is running at 5 frames per second for some reason
