When I'm looking at a large army, a quick summary of what units are in it would also be nice. Do I REALLY have to manually count them myself?

I'm still a noob at this game so maybe I missed something, but so far it looks like the best you can get to a quick summary is just pointing at a tile on the map and seeing "X units, but mostly Spearmen" or whatever. Bah. Hope I'm wrong...
I would like to see the sprites be like 20/30% bigger too i have to strain my eyes sometimes to tell units apart from one another especially when there all mashed in a group of like 100
if you could zoom in on the sprites in battle mode in the same way as on the world map, that would be nice; a deaths summary is also a good idea
1. Being able to build roads would be an absolute godsend, it takes way too long to move units from place to place. MoM had the ability to build roads and that was released about eighteen years ago. In fact, make it possible to build a variety of different buildings on tiles, or at least watchtowers.

2. Adding a background to combats so units aren't floating in a black void would be nice too.

3. Increasing the amount of resources you get slightly would not hurt either. At the beginning you spend way too much time hitting next turn and watching the resources tick up by +1.

4. Bring back the unit lore descriptions from Dominions 3. Not the same game I know, but all the units are from it and the background info for them is all brilliant.

5. Agreeing with the request for an after combat summary. The skip combat button is wonderful, but not being told what happened is annoying.

6. Add a magic system like dominions three. It doesn't have to be as detailed, but it would make for a much more involved game.

7. More random events. Lots more. Give me choices to make.
