I'm still a noob at this game so maybe I missed something, but so far it looks like the best you can get to a quick summary is just pointing at a tile on the map and seeing "X units, but mostly Spearmen" or whatever. Bah. Hope I'm wrong...
2. Adding a background to combats so units aren't floating in a black void would be nice too.
3. Increasing the amount of resources you get slightly would not hurt either. At the beginning you spend way too much time hitting next turn and watching the resources tick up by +1.
4. Bring back the unit lore descriptions from Dominions 3. Not the same game I know, but all the units are from it and the background info for them is all brilliant.
5. Agreeing with the request for an after combat summary. The skip combat button is wonderful, but not being told what happened is annoying.
6. Add a magic system like dominions three. It doesn't have to be as detailed, but it would make for a much more involved game.
7. More random events. Lots more. Give me choices to make.
