Freezes on Tutorial

Howdy folks!

Regularly getting freezes on the tutorial. Attempting to get the achievement of not needing help on the final ship of the tutorial, and I can't seem to get the game past the first waypoint. It's like the game freezes. I have to exit back to main menu, then hit play again.

Otherwise, this game has been fantastic and i'm excited to get it to 100%

The only achievements i'm missing are this one, and the one for the smuggling operation. I just haven't seen it yet it doesn't seem.

I find it interesting... I can't seem to beat the tutorial boss before dropping below 18hp (the threshold for beating him without help).

Yet I have beat sector two boss with all ships....

What am I missing? RNG just hate me or?

I'll give it a try after to verify nothing has changed, but IR emitter (+1 heat damage per laser attack that deals hull damage) did a lot of heavy lifting in the tutorial.

I did finally get it.. but it took me more tries than the final boss (per ship)... which strikes me as odd since there are so many people with the achievement.

It must just be RNG, I've always beaten the tutorial boss without assistance by just playing my cards in a vaguely intelligent way.

I get stuck in the tutorial and I have to kill the game.
