Repairs difficulty

This is my first card game and I made it to the first boss and beat it. Collected all my loot. Landed on the next zone and made a few upgrades...wait.

...we don't get an automatic full (or even partial) ship repair??? Whats up with that?

This. Beating the boss gives you a chunk of money, and the start of the next system is a station where you can spend some of that to patch up the holes in your ship.

if its your first card game, how can you expect boss auto healing to be default in this type of games :)

Doesn't STS auto heal until you reach high ascension?

Don't forget, the initial feeling is for you to rush towards the end of a sector as quick as possible, but you have the time, if there's multiple stations around, don't hesitate to just go take on extra fights to build money, so you can fix and upgrade a lot more. Don't take cards everytime, only take cards you want or need.

If you hang around longer, you'll get stronger, you'll deal with more fights which you can stomp down and thus earn more and get more upgrades you actually want.
