Looking back at the demo I realize we made it too difficult, especially for the Marauder.
We've addressed some of the critical issues with it, such as easier shop access, cheaper repairs , toned down the first sector boss, and expanded the sector map so you have more nodes until you reach the end.
We'll update the demo with all of these changes around the first week of August, along with a lot of other changes and additions.
That being said, it IS indeed possible to defeat the boss in the current demo with the Marauder, in fact I've seen some players beat the boss on the first turn. (Always fun to see people play way better than you as the developer)
The Boss is fine, the issue is u can't basically shop anywhere beside neutral station makes is such a gamebreaker in so many ways. Why do Yellow guys don't let u dock with neutral tag ?! i don't get it.
And if u don't get quadflack MK II as second weapon and 15 moral stacked good luck with those turn one kills.
How will the metaprogression inbetween sectors work ? U start every other sector a new ? Otherwise with a build like my last one i stomp everything. i guess ^^
