Can someone explain things, please?

So I played Ashina The Red Witch first and then I played this game, and I'm just confused by the endings. I followed the walkthrough of this game to get all the endings, and now I'm not sure if everything really was real or a dream, especially since the "Good" ending still has the same scary scene after the credits as the "Happy" ending. Is it not supposed to make sense, is it up to interpretation, or is there an explanation? I'm not really good at picking up on subtlety.

I played through the Good Ending twice just to double check, and it does not have the stinger after the credits. Combined with the fact that it's called Secret End in the chapter select and the completely different credits song I would say it is the canon ending.

Though that doesn't explain how Ash knows Luzia if it was all a dream.
