Glitch or Stuck? Spoilers

I am stuck in chapter 9 as I sided with the mercenaries but Chief won't help me so I can't seem to progress forward. I have done everything I can read the data logs both of them but now can't access parts of the ship like armory, central computer, or surgery room. I can't finish the only goal left of investigate the ship and Vanessa is just on a loop when I talk with her. Is there something I am missing or is this a glitch?

I can't say for sure without knowing exactly what you have and haven't done throughout the game but in case you're still stuck the core requirements for the segment you're in are to Read the task list in the doctor's data pad and also read the captain's medical history. You'll also need to enter the Central Computer using Cassie's key-card, the ITEM button should light up with a prompt when you're able to do this.

There are other things you can do before you do this, but some of them are dependent on choices you've made earlier.
