Thief™ II: The Metal Age

two questions
1st question - I'm quite young player, and I played TDS for the first time about 3 or 4 months ago and I enjoyed it very much. Now I'm playing Thief II and I love it despite its age. I'm thinking about playing Thief I but I 'm not sure if I'm not a little too young to enjoy it. It's 22 years old after all, and I started playing games from the ones like Assassins's Creed Black Flag, and Witcher 1, so I'm not really used to playing that old games. What do you think?

2nd question - Is there a website/forum/anything where I can watch and share fanarts, memes, videos, expierences and talk about original Thief series? Here, on steam, I see mainly discussions about technical issues or "I'm stuck.../How can I find..." kind of questions. I love Thief franchise and I'd like to share my enjoyment of it with other fans, but my friends simply don't know it or don't want to play it and most of discussions that I find on the internet are dead for years. Any suggestions?

Most of the Thief community hangs out at TTLG forums. There's also a Reddit board and a Discord server.

Yeah, I agree if you like Thief 2, you're very likely to like Thief 1. The two games are very similar. I happen to like Thief 2 better though. You can tell that Thief 1 is a little more primitive because there are things like more empty rooms and stuff like that and no secrets :-(.

Also there's a lot more weird stuff in it. There's zombies and monsters and weird creatures throughout the game and a number of missions that just have weird settings; there's very little of that in T2 which I'm glad of.

Also you should absolutely play Thief 2x! It's a fan made game built on the T2 engine. As far as I'm concerned, it's a sequel to T2. It's not just a fan mission; it's a whole game with voice acting, a story, a *full* set of missions, new weapons, textures, etc. It's just shy of what you'd expect from a professional development company,
