Hello,
my scarecrow doesnt seem to work. The birds keep coming and eating my crops. There is also a bar underneath the scarecrow, why is that?

I imagine you've already worked this out; I'm a bit late to the party, but you need to use the hammer on the scarecrow to finish building him.
