Honestly, I miss the old Project Quarantine...
I Played the old alpha of Project Quarantine 50 hours. It was great. Now I am honestly disappointed from the new alpha version... one Main point is that every time you aim, the whole camera zooms in. When you scope, everything zooms in. In the old Version you just saw the object trough the scope - there was no zoom in of the whole camera... this is insane :( can you provide the old version beside the new version again?

I think a slider on how zoomed in you get would be nice. I don`t mind the zoom in on the lower 200m sights but some like the acog are a bit off to try and use.

The ideal solution is a picture-in-picture based scope (where the scope view zooms but the peripheral vision remains normal). But that has a performance cost, and this game already struggles...

That's what the devs said, when it was removed from the original demo.

Yeah, it does make sense, given that the game is currently having performance struggles.

However I also can't help but mention, ArmA 3, which had its 10 year birthday last year, makes heavy use of picture-in-picture rendering, and yet runs great on much more modest hardware.

Different games have different priorities as far as how they use the hardware, but I'll just give my 2 cents... true immersion features like appropriate use of PiP rendering will do so much more to get me into the game, than having more pixels on the textures or more triangles on the models. So after they've had the chance to do enough optimization, I hope it will still get considered.
