Loyalty Level?

Pardon my ignorance, I haven't hopped on for a while since pretty much all of the major reworks (think of my experience as day 1 of EA). I understand the faction reputation tiers used for traders and how to increase those (UICS, IGC, VLF), but now in the stash, in order to purchase or expand some storage boxes it says I need a loyalty level of 25/50/etc, but I see no indication of what level you are currently? How do you increase this loyalty level?

The upgrades in the stash are also linked to the different faction levels but it is not very clear for the player to see this or what level with who is required for what. Likely it will improve in the future.

from my understanding it's based on the rep tier bar so it you reach tier 2 its loyalty lvl 25, tier 3 lvl 50, tier 4 lvl 75.

VFL loyalty enables you to unlock more space in Gear and Ammo i believe.
While UICS lets you buy more sttorage for Medical
and IGC Loyalty opens up Weaponry storage.
