Maybe they should be active on the platform we bought the game on? Im good with letting it cook a bit, but only talking in discord is stupid, not everyone uses discord. And by active, do you mean just chit-chatting with people. Most of the stuff they have said is coming looks like basic stuff that should have been out a EA release, guessing they ran out of money or are funneling it to the other two garbage games they are involved in, Harsh Doorkickers and SCP5K or whatever, two games that are barebones, and seems to be very slow moving as well.

Also someone said update in Oct, 6 months for basic gameplay features is a bit long, should have had a few patches to at least make the game run smooth.

I have been on Steam for many years. Steam is a great place to discuss your favorite games with others. For a long time, that included developers and/or community moderators. These days, community moderators are seldom here and developers are almost exclusively on Discord. If you want a chance to talk to a developer, about your only chance is on Discord. That's just how it works today. Real time information/news on your games, is there, not here as much.

Doesn't change the fact that information shared on Discord should also be posted on Steam, Discord tends to be an echo chamber. I just think it wouldn't be that hard to post a pinned message every now and then with an update/wip information. Guessing it has something to do with people using Nitro or whatever that in turn gets them a payout of some sort from discord, but thats just my tinfoil hat idea and has no hard evidence behind it.

Well, they usually post announcements and update information here. Not much more. I just got L33T and they posted a huge list of expected updates for this month on Discord and nothing on Steam. Honestly Steam is full of complainers and Discord seems to be full of game supporters. I think the Steam community partially drove the developers to Discord.

I jumped into the discord, and will say even though it's not the way a like to get my information on games I have on steam, the people there were very receptive and the dev did engage in the questions I had. Still not my favorite way to get info but guess times change and so should I.
In terms of posting.
Steam is like Facebook and Discord is like X or TikTok
Discord is live information and Steam is old posts.
Discord is the future and Steam is what was.

Devs literally posted a work in progress preview on August 20th of this year, and one of the devs was talking to the community yesterday at 1630 PST, so I don't know what to tell you.

mate the game is still published on Steam. There's no game published on discord.
And I have made successful suggestions to the devs on Steam as well, after being banned from discord by unruly moderator, so it definitely still works.
