Also someone said update in Oct, 6 months for basic gameplay features is a bit long, should have had a few patches to at least make the game run smooth.
Doesn't change the fact that information shared on Discord should also be posted on Steam, Discord tends to be an echo chamber. I just think it wouldn't be that hard to post a pinned message every now and then with an update/wip information. Guessing it has something to do with people using Nitro or whatever that in turn gets them a payout of some sort from discord, but thats just my tinfoil hat idea and has no hard evidence behind it.
I jumped into the discord, and will say even though it's not the way a like to get my information on games I have on steam, the people there were very receptive and the dev did engage in the questions I had. Still not my favorite way to get info but guess times change and so should I.
Steam is like Facebook and Discord is like X or TikTok
Discord is live information and Steam is old posts.
Discord is the future and Steam is what was.

And I have made successful suggestions to the devs on Steam as well, after being banned from discord by unruly moderator, so it definitely still works.
