Leupold HAMR optic switching

Unlike the hybrid holo, I cant seem to switch between the optic and red dot on the HAMR. Is this just something that needs implementing or am I missing something?

You, just like a lot of other people, forgot to actually put the red dot in.
Nothing shameful, happened to nearly every single last of us at some point.

the HAMR has a red dot cover that LOOKS LIKE it comes with the DP red dot, but actually doesn't.

I know it sucks but that's how the real HAMR works so...

oh nice! thanks for that. I'm still not able to switch to it though using the usual middle mouse button?

yeah switching between sights is a different button.
Also, switching between ADS and point shooting is yet another button.

Only switching between HHS-1's magnifier is using middle mouse.

Just found this out last night on my own. Magnifiers are considered a tactical attachment so the EOTECH + magnifier uses the middle mouse button wheel whereas the ACOG and HAMR with the piggyback red dot utilizes the "switch optics" function.

yeah, HHS-1 is considered as ONE optic with two modes (think about Spectre 1x-4x), while HAMR and ACOG is considered two separate sights.
