I'm planning to buy GZW to add in my extraction shooter collection when it will support EA/SEA servers as i've read that it mainly support CN,NA and EU servers but i can be wrong.
For more bang for your buck at this moment, I'd go GZW. IRR feels much earlier than GZW so much that I'll just tuck this game in the back of the vault and let it grow.
no I view Tarkov as head (eyes)
everyone is a crack shot in that game and it ruins the experience, tasks in tarkov are one of the weakest points of the game. the need for external maps is dumb.
IRR does share the magical extraction points but at least you have an ingame GPS map to see them. Vigor and COD DMZ all do extraction better with my fave being Vigor with painted exits and the maps designed with care put into the exit areas... doesn't stop exit campers but has things like crows kicking up to warn you that its being camped.
when an exit is just stay here next to a wall, thats awful in my opinion especially if said wall has to be found via an external map.
I hate when games don't have prone, ground branch just recently added prone. I understand it is not easy to get right but Arma with AI proning and crouching and throwing nades puts a lot of these games to shame and has been doing it for years.
with all the advancements in engine tech it still feels like we are playing AI from 25 year old games or more.... hell even golden eye had dudes that reacted to where they got shot.....
Tarkov has small fences that your dude can't seem to mantle over for some reason, its bad in a lot of areas. I want to love Tarkov but its rough edges are very rough....
On the other hand GZW is very nice on paper, but it has performance issues, sometimes it crashes, the ai from time to time gets mad and headshots u with a broken ak from like 600 meters away, sometimes your friend can't log in in your server, u need to restart the game and blabla, at least this was the situation one and half month ago. I don't know how the game is, performance-wise, nowadays.
