This game is not set during the Vietnam War...
EDIT: From the store page:
"However, the Soviet Union's collapse in 1990 leaves Vietnam vulnerable. Western economic infiltration and cultural transformation begins to shift Vietnam's geopolitical landscape. By 2013, China's interest in Vietnam intensified, resulting in the formation of a China backed Vietnam Communist Union Party. A front for a private military organization designed to sabotage Western influences. Over the next 2 years, covert and black-ops conflict between the US and China lead to Vietnam's societal collapse. International intervention started in 2015, but degraded over the next 3 years into conflict involving various PMCs and militias, driven more by profit and opportunism than by governmental allegiances, set against the backdrop of a once-prosperous country now engulfed in lawlessness and war."
Do you even have the slightest clue what the small arms of those two countries look like today? VN manufactures their own standard issue rifle, based on the Israeli Galil SAR. The Chinese are using a variety of bullpup and non-bullpup guns of their own design.
And sure, some "AKs" as you call them are still around but they differ - at times hugely - from what is depicted in this game. Just because something looks like an "AK" to the untrained eyed, it doesn't mean it's automatically an AKMS or AK-74n.
Or, I'm wrong and all of this is planned.
Tarkov's UI isn't very unique...
Bro wants them to develop new UI because he associates it with tarkov lmao this dude nit picking so hard
You're just illiterate when it comes to the small arms used in that region of the world, aren't you? I mean, I even gave you the hints so needn't trouble yourself with googleing it for yourself. And yet you doubled down once again on the "AKs".
Name me one other game that has that grid inventory like Tarkov, the same way backpacks and vests work, and most notably how attachments are shown when you double click on a weapon.
No what I'm saying is 1) this region of the world uses.AK pattern rifles historically and 2) it doesn't make a difference for a proof of concept like this. You're nit picking.
Yes, how dare I demand a new game has its own UI? That's just crazy, bro .
1. Historically, people there used muskets and sticks. So why aren't there any sticks and muskets in the game?
2. Why proof of concept? Is this game a proof of concept?
