Incursion Red River

Incursion Red River

i am back to incursion red river game instead of Gray zone warfare.
Gray zone warfare was a disaster for me, my rtx 4060 could not even run the game. i give up and server always kicks me out. I am back to Incursion red river, too much better. 4060 can handle high settings. I played 21 hours and no problems.

Also, people should not forget that there was a time when Escape from Tarkov was just some obscure shooter game. And that it had basic features, and a lot of placeholders in terms of AI, loot etc. It was similar with Warframe, and a ton of other games that proved out to be quite successful in the long run. So yeah, patience and constructive criticism is the way to go.

Dude i got a 3090 and can run that game at 4K locked 60fps with everything set to Ultra.
Something is seriously wrong with your machine or that 4060 has really low VRAM.

Try lowering settings and turning on FSR (DLSS is broken)

Both games are fantastic.

I like this because if the smaller map but it lacks alot of stuff and feels like a very very early version which may or maynot get properly developed to completion. Games like this developed by small teams can take years to reach V1 and often run out of funding.

Gray Zone is unline anything we have seen before. It's huge and expansive. The world looks absolutely stunning if you have the hardware to run it and the common sense to know how to adjust PC settings. The PVE is exceptionally tense. The mission structure is far more rounded than this and the details of the inventory, the traders and the vast variety of locations to visit - then you add the PVP mode into it. It's a significantly bigger game that is further along in development and has the support of good financing and a big team.

By the way - not alot of gamers know this but It's ok to enjoy multiple games in the same genre. Not everything has to be a one vs the other.

Both games are good.

Sorry you can't figure out how to configure Grayzone to run decently.

Gray zone warfare needs patches.

I am using high settings now for incursion red river. No issues.

This is the clear winner for me. Gray zone looks like a dumpster fire. This released in EA and is actually playable without game crashing bugs for me, or shutting down my PC.

Yeah same.
This game is way less demanding and has way less going on in terms of graphical fidelity.
It should run better.

Gray Zone is pushing way more out of its engine hence why some are struggling but the results are stunning. The game looks gorgeous on Epic settings.

Look. Both are great games. We are very lucky to suddenly be spoiled with multiple solid pve focused extraction shooters after waiting years for them. Both can exist in the same timeline and be enjoyed by the same people.

Will enjoy both. Just need some people to play with in each game. looking for people that want to play games, online, not TK, and have fun.

I have both Incursion Red River and Gray Zone Warfare and they are both good games. I like the scope and scale of Gray Zone Warfare, while Incursion Red River offers a much smaller map and shorter matches. I think both of them serve a good purpose and believe they will only improve with time.

Hey @KingKat54, I would be down to play some cooperative Gray Zone and Red River. I enjoy these types of FPS games that require a slower pace and good communication. Add me as a friend if you want to get some matches in.

I watched some videos on GZW. I hate how your operator holds the weapon. I know it's trivial, but that stuff bothers me, especially when it's constantly on screen. Accurate or not it looks dumb. The movement seems janky too. I don't want another ARMA like jank fest. Not to mention me not knowing how my RX 6800XT will run. From what I've seen, it won't be enjoyable. Games need to go back to playable demos. Even if its an offline shooting range.

Afraid that more and more "extraction shooters" will try for ultra-realism. Might satisfy many hardened mils-sim payers, but not everyone. Why I never got into ARMA. Love to see more content in IRR.

You essentially have playable demos in Steams 2 hour refund policy. That really is more than enough time to see if the game works for you or feels like something you want to play so make sure you take advantage of that.
