Anyway, do be sure check out skacky's TG stuff.

Those are easily some of the fines fan missions for any Thief game, ever. "Endless Rain" in particular is a masterpiece: huge, gorgeous, utterly nonlinear cityscape with fantastic atmosphere. Makes one depressed when he compares something like that to modern AAA game levels produced by dozens of folks with modern engines and fancy budgets, it does.
Master skacky also worked on this two-mission campaign for TG, with a couple of other authors:

First mission is a huge cityscape in vein of "Endless Rain", from which players proceeds into huge sewer compex. Great exploration, lots of surprises. Second mission is part brothel, part old Keeper library (yeah, twas based on "that" mission from "that" game). Not as good as first mission, feels kinda overly difficult at times and also unfinished, but tis still very much worth playing.
I really loved this campaign. IMO it perfectly captures that atmosphere and weirdness of original TDP that was lost in the sequels. It should be played without texture mods for the maximum effect.
Awesome, appreciate the links.
Thief2x (link: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144804), which is a massive fan-made expansion. Great flow and variety of levels; about 12 missions in all. Expands on the Thief 2 story quite well.
The Seven Sisters: a really fun and large city exploration romp with a well-told, charming story and some very memorable sections. One of the best.
A Night In Rocksbourg 1, 2 and 3: Okay, forgive me while I wax about these: this trilogy is so good, I would happily pay real money for it. Garrett goes on holiday to Rockbourg, a neighbour to the City, but arrives to find the city is collapsing into anarchy. He works with the Keepers to uncover information about a sinister new organisation, work out what's going on in Rocksbourg, and find a way to escape the place (which has been sealed from within to prevent news of the disaster escaping). It's really, really dark and the levels ooze atmosphere with incredible detail and unique graphic design. The first two missions are beautiful cities to explore, with a couple of creepy or downright terrifying surprises. The third is even greater and takes place... okay I won't spoil it ;) The fourth mission and a prequel are planned, but I have no idea when they will come out. It's been a long and agonising wait.
Ominous Bequest Gold- A mansion mission with a twisting, turning storyline that gets better and better.
Broken Triad Hnnng this is so good. Sequel to Ominous Bequest. These two are Thief's Hollywood blockbuster FMs.
The Thief 1-style city missions:
Bad Debts
Disorientation
Shadow Politics
Between These Dark Walls
Endless Rain (perhaps the biggest and best)
The Chalice of Souls
Unbidden Guest
These are mostly huge, exploration-based missions set in a Thief 1 setting (with the style of architecture and atmosphere you see in the Assassins city section for example). Great exploration in rooftops, sewers and streets; 5 stars for level design here. Some are for T2, others for T1 so check first; a couple of them are direct sequels (play in the order I listed and you'll be fine). See if you can find the Dopefish in Bad Debts!
Circle Of Stone and Shadow: Gathering at the Inn is a very nice mission, but the second mission (Mission X) is a masterpiece. It's very difficult, but is kind of like Mission Impossible meets Thief- infiltration mission with dialogue trees, choice of objectives and dynamic events in an enormous Hotel-casino complex. Fantastic story in both and ambitious design in the latter. Sadly, the 3rd and later missions were scrapped, even though 3 was mostly done.
The Greyfeather gems 1 and 2. Very atmospheric and well-done. Some of the best city missions imo- the first is a normal looting everything from public and private buildings mission, but the second is in a half-abandoned Haunted Cathedral sort of setting, but without undead (mostly...). Suffers from Half Life 3 syndrome, as the 2nd mission ends on a cliff-hanger and the sequel was never released.
The Seventh Crystal: Mansion mission with a twist (which is a whole sub-genre of FMs). Very nice story and design. Yet another cliff-hanger ending with no follow up, sadly. This is why we should be thankful T2X was ever actually finished.
The Inverted Manse: The first, and still one of the best, FM to nail atmospheric horror. Worth replaying, as each difficulty setting changes the level layout and objectives. But I'll tell you what, this mission impressed the guys at Ion Storm so much when it was released in 2001 that they hired the guy who made it to work on Thief 3. He went onto design the Shalebridge Cradle... need I say any more?
The Hammerite Imperium: Seven Shades of Mercury Oh boy, this is a f*&%ing beautiful one. Brilliant setting and story too (seems to be in a kind of alternate version of the Thief universe, or a different part of the world), in which you must defeat various teams of students in a cathedral complex to graduate from the Hammerite Academy.
The Drymian Codex A hammerite mission: very well done and has a great story and a few scary bits.
Other great missions I've played
Bones: The Old Quarter: You head into the haunted Old Quarter (seen in T1) after it's been cleared of undead. Very pretty and atmospheric.
The Thieves' Highway: Life of the Party 2.0 and that's all you need to know :)
Benny's dead: A nice city and infiltration mission with a... twist later on! You'll also meet some interesting new friends in the sewers ;)
Lord Alan's Fortress and L A's Factory. The first is a great fortress mission, while the second is a weird industrial horror mission with an absolutely enormous map (and I mean seriously massive)- unusual, but kinda amazing.
Being Thief 1 + 2. Big city to explore in both missions.
The Art of Thievery. Nicely designed stealth mission.
Fables of the Penitent Thief A silly fairy-tale mission, for if you ever get bored of the normal stuff. Loads of fun, even if it isn't really 'Thief'!
Upside Down Another silly mission, where you play as a guard fighting off Thieves! Very funny and highly replayable!
L'Arsene: A big city (you'll get pretty lost fast- I had to draw my own map so I could make sure I'd explored everything!) and a rather cool plot about a rival thief to Garrett. It's very... French. There's a series of sequels which are supposed to be good, but I haven't got round to all of them yet.
What do you mean, fixed link? It works for me.
Also are you using Tafferpatcher for Thief 2? There are some tweaks you could try to improve performance with.
multisampletype 16 (or whatever it's set to)
put a ; in front so it looks like
;multisampletype 16
and save the file.
Shadow of Doubt campaign is also decent. The first two missions are great. The third one is a bit lacking, but it is very short and more of a transition mission. The fourth one, Broadsword of Sheol is amazing. It also has some panic inducing sections and captures what made Bonehoard so amazing. The last mission is a let down, and it is also a bit confusing with key hunting sections and some badly scripted events.
Other than that, what everyone else said.
Endless Rain
The Chalice of Souls
Between These Dark Walls
Shadow Politics
Superb quality.
Those are probably the more complex ones for T1.
Also the Inverted Manse for Thief 2. One of the best undead horror missions with three different playstyles, custom graphics and great atmosphere. I might also throw Rose Cottage for Thief 2, but it far from a traditional mission. I still haven't finished it, however.
I swear you deserve some type of medal or something. No matter the topic, as long as it's Thief, you always have a thing to say and numerous times I've needed help and you've been quick to respond and very helpful. Appreciate it a ton, Thief II is running almost perfectly now (had no idea anti-aliasing was on).
I've been helping people here a while, so have my tricks! TFix gives the option to disable anti-aliasing during install, but not Tafferpatcher unfortunately. And even then, I don't know why it's set to something ludicrous like 16x (personally I never notice a difference above 4x AA).
EDIT: I also had Tafferpatcher on before I installed NewDark which apparently already includes it so maybe something that Tafferpatcher changes makes the game lag like hell?
