Stuck in...the tutorial...

Hi, i am completly new to this game.
I am doing the tutorial, and at one point, just after the sword fight in the courtyard, the voice tells me to pick up eveything from the table (a key, a potion and an apple), then to open my inventory with "J" to use the key to unlock the next door.
I can't open the inventory, and it looks like there is no inventory as it's not mention in the control change menu.
WTF ?

Try the mousewheel then right click to use.

Hi,

There is no dedicated inventory screen where you could get an overview of everything that you're carrying.
Instead, you can use some of your keyboard's keys¹ to cycle through the items you're carrying (or stacks of similar enough items) and select one to appear at the bottom right of your screen, which you may then "Use"

¹ : default should be something like Tabulation, keypad "/" and keypad "*", but ou can check/change that from the menus, under the options > controls
