TFIX or TFIX LITE?

Why do people recommend the Lite version?
What exactly are the differences between the TFIX full version and lite version?

lite is the bare, bare minimum to make T1/TG work under NewDark. full includes overhauled resources and levels, and their install is mandatory. some people don't like that.

you are better off playing with lite first , ie experiencing the game as it was supposed to be experienced , once you have completed it only then should you start to mod it heavily

tbh i played like half the game and installed the fix and well it does not even look so different such an old game playing the other half with the fix on

i just got the ordinary TFix and just unticked all the extras and its worked perfectly for me, all i wanted was to play in 1080p and its done exactly that and only that

you still are getting the overhauled maps even if you untick everything.

what!? So my game is different than the original game?... :( i want to play the game exactly as it was but just in 1080p... :( What exactly has changed? The maps have changed? Has gameplay changed? If its just increased resolution of textures or something like that, then i wouldnt mind, but i want the gameplay to be how its supposed to be...

gameplay is intact, but a ton of bugs have been squashed. and small improvements like the Constantine's sword having a proper texture have been added.

install tfix, remove all thief 2 options, just install tfix no additional mods, vanilla game.
